On Saturday, October 4th, the Miamisburg Viking Marching Band performed their show, "Waterfront," at the 2025 Versailles Invitational at H.B. Hole Field, earning acclaim from both judges and the audience.

The competition was sanctioned by the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA). Miamisburg, classified in the largest division, Class AA (for schools with 901+ students in grades 10-12), swept the competition. The Vikings captured Best Guard, Best Percussion, and 1st Place in Class AA. They also earned Overall Best Music, Overall Best General Effect, and GRAND CHAMPION for the combined Class A/AA competition.

Additionally, the judges unanimously awarded Miamisburg the highest possible score, a Superior Rating, which qualifies the Viking Marching Band for the OMEA State Marching Band Finals. The band will compete at State on Sunday, November 2nd, at Piqua High School.
